Have you ever saw your dog stop to sniff the flowers on your walk? 💐

Like reeeeeeally sniff 

I’m talking about the kind of sniff where they come away with pollen on the side of their face kind of sniff 

Our girl Luna is a professional sniffer, mayor of our condo complex, and certified in going on the best sniff-ari’s

I’ve seen her walk away from flowers covered in pollen, walk through the dunegrass to be covered up by burdock, stop to sniff a puddle only to be ankle deep before you know it. 

The list is only limited by my memory. 

One thing I’ve learned over 3 and half years of raising the most stubborn dog I’ve ever met is that I need to stop trying to rush to the next thing, smell the damn flowers, and enjoy all the moments in the sun I get. 

I mean we all work so hard to survive and enjoy ourselves so when we get those moments we might as well enjoy em’ in their entirety.

And besides, I believe that we’d all be a bit better off taking a page out of our dogs playbooks every once in a while—they’re smarter than we get them credit for. 📓

While we all know that business is a long haul game, let’s not forget that the way to win that game is steady progress day after day. One small victory today builds off yesterday’s and so forth.
