While I loved the intention behind calling each writing section a “sprint,” I sometimes found the pacing hard — especially as someone who needs to know how long a task might take before jumping in.
If you’re neurodivergent or someone who gets decision fatigue, you might find yourself avoiding certain sprints simply because they feel too massive. I would’ve loved some estimated time blocks or clearer scope per sprint. (Is this a 15-minute thing or a “clear your afternoon” situation? Help me out, Sara.)
Here’s the thing: every time I thought I had what I needed, I’d scroll a little further and find another bonus. Not just fluff — but useful shit. Like examples, swipe files, workarounds, pep talks, and tech tips. It’s like a treasure hunt of “oh damn, that’s helpful.”
It reminded me of those “What Do You Meme” expansion packs — like, you don’t need them, but once you have them, you wonder how you ever played without them.
Months after completing the course, I still pop into the Slack group to ask questions or share wins. Sara regularly replies, and the community genuinely shows up for each other.
