Yes, that title length *technically* violates the SEO guidelines for blog titles, but fuck it—it’s really not that serious. And this my friend is lesson #1 inside of The Publishing House blogging membership (among many more to come later in this blog!). I’ve been getting some questions about who our blogging membership is for and before I write out my elevator pitch one more time, I thought this would be a great opportunity to practice what I preach by writing a blog with the answer.

What Is The Publishing House?

Before we dive into who our blogging membership is for, let’s talk about what the heck this membership even is.

The Publishing House is a blogging membership that includes a done-with-you approach to writing and publishing your blogs.

With the support of me helping you write engaging, conversational driven blogs and Zach—SEO guy helping you make sure the keywords you want to rank for are actually going to help your blog get visible, you end up with a blog that will not only convert, but also build upon your kickass content ecosystem that probably already exists on some other platform.

Wheww, that was a mouth full!

TELL ME MORE

I Can’t Promise You’ll Become a Better Blogger, Buuuut…

This is copy that I literally put on our sales page without realizing how true it would become for our founding members.

I’m not even kidding when I tell you that I get Slack DM’s talking about how much of a better blogger/writer they have become because they simply have “Priscilla’s voice” in the back of their mind wile writing their next piece of content. 💅🏼

Maybe it’s a mix of my very blunt approach to helpful feedback with lots of sprinkles of “WOW, this hit hard”, but regardless, they’re doing the damn thing and publishing content that they are not only proud of, but content that miss Google approves of.

Btw, you can learn more about miss Google’s approval when you subscribe to SEO Guy’s weekly newsletter called SEO Skratch here).

Who Is The Publishing House Blogging Membership For?

  • Creative business owners that *know* they need to blog, but haven’t started
  • Consistently write “blog” on their to-do list week after week but never actually blog
  • Feel personally attacked everytime you come across a Thread reminding you about how damn important blogging is for your content ecosystem, SEO, and sustainable marketing efforts
  • Want to be on Pinterest, but unfortunately you don’t blog to have enough ‘fresh content’ to publish each month
  • Have a notes app stocked full of blogging ideas…
  • A human with shit to say

And if I’m being so forreal right now, I could probably go on and on about who this blogging membership is for, but I have an inkling that you get the gist just by that last bullet point.

Theoretically Speaking, Let’s Pretend You Just Joined: Here’s What To Expect

  • 7 Days of Slack messaging support from yours truly — seriously though, nothing is off limits when it comes to writing your blogs
    • Need a title? Done.
    • Headings mapped out? Let’s gooooo.
    • Keyword chosen for you? We gottchu.
    • Metadata decided? Already on it.
    • Brainstorm ideas for your content ecosystem? I’ve got my pen ready.
    • Internal linking strategy? Talk dirty to me.
    • Repurposing content ideas? I already have 8 locked and loaded.

  • Weekly co-writing calls (Monday’s 6-8pm EST. & Wednesday 12-2pm EST.) where you can utilize this space as blog coaching support, keyword brainstorming, silent writing time with a body double, etc.

  • Slack Channels designed to support you actually publishing those damn blogs
    • Community Challenges (with prizes, because duh!)
    • SEO support from SEO Guy
    • Blogging questions, answered around the clock

  • Feedback Friday’s — a level of support that apparently I don’t charge enough for, my lack of holding back is your gain 😉
    • Submit your blogs to me on Fridays, and have them reviewed/edited by Monday evening

Okay, you talked me into it

Meet Priscilla, Your New Blogging Membership Mentor

I wish I could tell my 4th grade self who was so dang excited about her first local newspaper publishing that she would get the opportunity to write for a living one day—she would be so proud.

But instead, I get to brag about that to you. I’ve been a writer apparently since 4th grade? Probably earlier. I started my first official blog in 2017-2018 called ‘The Carolina Peach’ and it was my pride and joy until Covid happened (R.I.P travel/lifestyle blog). I kinda-sorta gave up on the whole writing bit when I started grad school to become a therapist, but spoiler—found my way back to blogging!

If you’re new here from the wild west of the internet, welcome! This is a safe space to show up messy, authentic, and absolutely unhinged (if that’s your vibe). Have specific questions about the membership? I’ve been identified as a professional yapper, and would love to answer all of your Q’s — send me an IG DM to keep the convo going.
